Hannah Ojo is a tech-savvy journalist with The Nation Newspaper, Lagos, Nigeria. An alumnus of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife; she is easily drawn to topics on development, technology, arts and literature. She was named Winner of the Etisalat Prize for Most Innovative Reporter at the Nigeria Media Merits Awards in December 2016. She also emerged winner of the Fisheries and Animal Resources Category in the 2016 Zimeo Awards organised by the Africa Media Initiative in Nairobi, Kenya. A 2017 impactAfrica grantee, she was a finalist for the Best Reporting Entry, Rotary Humanitarian Reporting and has covered the 70th General Assembly of the United Nations in New York as a Thomson Reuters SDG fellow in 2015.
